All-American Bowl 2024: Score, Recruit Commitments and Reaction
Team West defeated Team East 31-28 in the All-American Bowl on Saturday in San Antonio behind the efforts of MVP and Minnesota safety recruit Koi Perich, whose diving interception blocked punt helped lead his team to a victory.
Other stars included Ohio State commit (and No. 1 overall recruit) Jeremiah Smith, who scored the game's first touchdown for Team West. Alabama recruit and running back Daniel Hill tacked on two more touchdowns for the victors, who once led 31-7 before a late East comeback.
Clemson wideout recruit TJ Moore played a big role in the East's offensive success with two scores. Auburn commit and quarterback Demond Williams threw for two scores.
The big stories of the day, though, were some commits from 4-and 5-star prospects. Here's a look at a handful of players who made their decisions on Saturday.
EDGE Chris Burgess, Notre Dame
DB Devin Sanchez, Ohio State
CB Marcellus Barnes Jr., Syracuse
S Trajen Greco, Missouri
S Faletau Satuala, BYU
RB Daniel Hill, Alabama
DB Zavier Mincey, Alabama
CB Jett White, Maryland
Those players will be making their impacts on the college football landscape soon enough, but for now, the sport's attention turns toward the national championship on Monday between Washington and Michigan.
