4-Star RB Daniel Hill, 4-Star Safety Zavier Mincey Commit to Nick Saban, Alabama
Alabama picked up a pair of huge talents out of the Class of 2024 on Saturday, landing 4-star running back Daniel Hill and 4-star cornerback Zavier Mincey.
Hill, a 5-foot-11, 239-pound back chose the Crimson Tide over Mississippi State, Tennessee, Auburn and a handful of other Power 5 programs, per 247Sports' Tom Loy.
He hails from Meridian High School in Meridian, Mississippi, and is considered to be the No. 176 player nationally, the No. 15 running back nationally and the No. 4 player in Mississippi by 247Sports Composite.

7 Players Poised for Bounce-Back Years 💪
Mincey, a 6-foot-1, 187-pounder out of Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, committed to Alabama over Florida, Florida State, Miami and others.
He is considered to be the No. 55 player nationally, the No. 4 safety nationally and the No. 10 player in the state of Florida by 247Sports Composite.
The two players join Alabama's No. 2 247Sports Composite ranking for the Class of 2024.
According to Loy, Hill will enroll early at Alabama and get to work in the next few weeks. For Hill, signing with Alabama came down to Tuscaloosa and Nick Saban being the right fit.
"It just came down to what's best for me and my family," said Hill. "It's close to home. It's really just best for me and my future."
Hill joins Kevin Riley as Alabama's two running backs in the Class of 2024.
Mincey will be a huge addition to the Tide as they look to rebuild their secondary after losing several key pieces. Starting cornerbacks Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold are both heading to the NFL Draft, while Jaylen Key has used up his eligibility. Alabama also lost a pair of cornerbacks to the transfer portal in Earl Little and Kristian Story.
The news of Hill and Mincey's commitments is a bright spot for Alabama fans, who suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss to Michigan earlier this week. Now, Saban is looking to get his team ready for the 2024 campaign.
