Top East Recruits
2 of 3
WR Jeremiah Smith (No. 1, Ohio State signee)
DB KJ Bolden (No. 14, Georgia signee)
DL Eddrick Houston (No. 26, Ohio State signee)
OT Josiah Thompson (No. 28, South Carolina signee)
DL LJ McCray (No. 35, Florida signee)
OT Guerby Lambert (No. 42, Notre Dame signee)
LB Demarcus Riddick (No. 45, Auburn signee)
WR Ny Carr (No. 48, Miami signee)
S Zavier Mincey (No. 55, uncommitted)
The top player in the 2024 class leads the East roster. Smith, a 6-foot-3, 214-pound playmaker out of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Opa Locka, Fla., is the only one of the top 13 recruits participating in this game.
Smith isn't the only future Ohio State player on this team. He'll be joined by Houston, who attends Buford (Ga.) High School and is the No. 5 defensive lineman in the 2024 class.
The East defense will be stacked up front, as it will feature Houston and McCray on the D-line and Riddick in the linebacker corps. There's also Bolden, a talented athlete who also attends Buford (Ga.) High School. However, he'll be staying in state to play for the Bulldogs.
Smith, Bolden, Houston, Thompson and McCray are all 5-star recruits. Lambert is a 4-star, but he's still the No. 4 offensive tackle in the 2024 class.
Mincey will be announcing his commitment during the broadcast of Saturday's game. The defensive back out of Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla., will be choosing from four finalists: Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Miami. So he'll either be staying in state or choosing the Crimson Tide, who are the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite.
Top West Recruits
3 of 3
DL Justin Scott (No. 15, Miami signee)
WR Ryan Wingo (No. 24, Texas signee)
WR Cam Williams (No. 29, Notre Dame signee)
RB Taylor Tatum (No. 38, Oklahoma signee)
WR Gatlin Bair (No. 43, uncommitted)
RB Nate Frazier (No. 57, Georgia signee)
EDGE Marquise Lightfoot (No. 60, Miami signee)
Two future Miami players are among the top recruits on the West team. Scott is their highest ranked prospect, as the 6-foot-4, 310-pound defensive lineman out of St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago is the No. 3 D-lineman in the 2024 class. Lightfoot, a 4-star recruit out of Kenwood Academy in Chicago, is also a future Hurricane.
There are a lot of talented wide receivers in this year's recruiting class, and the West roster features three of the best. Wingo and Williams are both 5-star players, while Bair is a 4-star.
Bair, who attends Burley (Idaho) High School, was once committed to Boise State, but he decommitted last month. He will eventually be signing with either Michigan or Oregon, but he hasn't yet set an announcement date. The 247Sports Crystal Ball projects the Wolverines as the favorites to land Bair.
Frazier could be a player to watch on the West's offense. The No. 2 running back in the 2024 class, the Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, Calif.) is a fast, athletic playmaker who could eventually become a star at Georgia.
