Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Hopes to Become NFL's Highest-Paid WR: 'Ideally, Yeah'

CeeDee Lamb leads NFL in catches (122) this season, is second in receiving yards (1,651) and tied for third in receiving touchdowns (10), making him one of the most impactful players at the position in 2023.

The Dallas Cowboys star will play on a $17.9 million fifth-year option for the 2024 season before becoming a free agent, and he already has his sights set on becoming one of the highest-paid wideouts in football, though it isn't his top priority.

"Ideally, yeah, for sure," he told reporters when asked if he feels his 2023 production will eventually lead to him being one of the top-paid wideouts. "At the end of it all, I got a goal in mind and that's to get a ring. At the end of that, then we'll start talking about everything else. I'm focused on this and then we'll get on that."

He does feel he's already playing at an elite level, however.

"Definitely one of the elite receivers in this game and I worked my tail off to be that and to say that confidently," he told reporters.

The numbers certainly back him up.
