'Decker Reported' Billboards Put Up by Lions Fans After Controversial Cowboys Loss

Detroit Lions fans still aren't happy with Saturday's controversial 20-19 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

It seemed as if Detroit was going to win when it completed a trick-play pass to offensive tackle Taylor Decker for a two-point conversion in the final 30 seconds, but the officials said he did not report as eligible and ruled it a penalty.

Billboards that were put up in the Detroit area would suggest otherwise:

It was such a controversial ending because referee Brad Allen said it was offensive lineman Dan Skipper and not Decker who reported as an eligible receiver. Yet multiple members of the Lions countered that explanation and said Decker was the one who reported.

Detroit still had two chances to convert the two-pointer since the Cowboys went offside on the ensuing play from the Dallas 7-yard line, but it failed in both attempts.

The Lions are 11-5 and NFC North champions, but they would still be alive in the race for the NFC's No. 1 seed and the first-round bye that comes with it if they defeated the Cowboys. Instead, their ceiling is the No. 2 seed, and they would need some help in addition to a Week 18 victory over the Minnesota Vikings to reach that level.
