The episode included some of the Dolphins' preparation to face Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is the favorite to win NFL MVP. Multiple players took the time to address injuries, including Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who said he experienced swelling near the thumb on his throwing hand after the team's win over the Dallas Cowboys.

There was a cool moment in practice when Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel attached a go-pro camera to Tagovailoa's helmet, giving a different POV for how the quarterback views the field. Fans enjoyed looking at things through Tagovailoa's eyes:

However, the tone of the episode changed when the Ravens entered the picture. In addition to the disappointing loss that denied the Dolphins the chance at the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the team also lost star edge rusher Bradley Chubb to a devastating knee injury, creating a somber end to the episode:

It's not all bad news for the Dolphins, as they still have the chance to win their first AFC East title in 15 years when they meet the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Next week's episode of Hard Knocks will give a look at the lead-in to the marquee matchup.
