NFL Futures Betting Odds 2023-24: Best Picks for Super Bowl 58 Entering Week 15
Entering Week 15 of the NFL season, the playoff picture is beginning to come into clearer focus, with the first team having clinched a playoff berth last week in the San Francisco 49ers.
Ahead of Week 14, those same 49ers had Super Bowl futures odds of +310; those odds have since improved ahead of Week 15.
While the Philadelphia Eagles' +550 odds from last week have dropped slightly, they still find themselves among the top three teams with the highest odds of playing for the Lombardi Trophy. But one AFC team high on Vegas' list last week has since fallen, with another rising to take its place.
Let's take a closer look at the three teams with the best chances of winning it all come February heading into Week 15.
San Francisco 49ers
1 of 3
Super Bowl odds: +240
A 28-16 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14 extended the 49ers' win streak to five games coming out of the Week 9 bye, and their three-game skid between Weeks 6 and 8 remains the team's sole losses on the season.
Improving to 10-3 on the season helped San Francisco secure a playoff berth following Week 14, the first NFL team to do so.
But while the AFC remains top heavy, with the Baltimore Ravens (more on them soon) being the only team to reach 10 wins so far, two other NFC teams—the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys—share that record.
San Francisco has a chance to pull away from the pack in Week 15 against the 3-10 Arizona Cardinals, who are coming out of a Week 14 bye and broke a two-game losing streak before that.
As 12-point favorites, however, it's clear that Vegas is high on the Niners.
Baltimore Ravens
2 of 3
Super Bowl odds: +550
The Ravens' gutty 37-31 win over the Los Angeles Rams in overtime last week bumped them all the way up to Super Bowl futures odds of +550, the same odds the Eagles had at this time last week and positioning them ahead of other big favorites in the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins.
As previously mentioned, the Ravens are the only AFC team with 10 wins and pulling away from the 8-5 Cleveland Browns in the AFC North.
They have a tough matchup against the 8-5 Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday Night Football, but a win in that game plus a number of other scenarios (such as a Denver Broncos loss or tie and a Buffalo Bills, Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers or Houston Texans loss or tie) would result in a playoff berth.
Lamar Jackson had 316 passing yards, three touchdowns and 70 rushing yards in the win against the Rams, while Trevor Lawrence is coming off a loss to the Browns in which he threw three picks. Baltimore has a good chance of strengthening its standing in the race for the No. 1 seed.
Philadelphia Eagles
3 of 3
Super Bowl odds: +700
In Week 15, against the 6-7 Seahawks, the Eagles hope to turn around a two-game losing streak and get their house in order when it comes to playoff seeding.
After all, despite some recent stumbles, Philly does still have a 10-3 record, tied for the best in the NFC (and the league). They control their own destiny and can clinch a playoff berth with a win or tie in Week 15.
And whatever issues are plaguing the Eagles defense, surely a matchup against the middling Seahawks can point them back in the right direction. Seattle has lost four straight and comes into the matchup as a four-point underdog. Plus, Geno Smith could be ruled out with a groin injury.
With extra time to prepare ahead of this Monday night matchup, the Eagles should be able to retain if not improve their current Super Bowl futures odds.
