Updated 2024 NFL Draft Order After Sunday's Week 14 Results
The Chicago Bears experienced the best of both worlds as a team building for the future in Week 14.
Justin Fields delivered a win over a divisional rival at home and the Bears took a big step toward the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft thanks to the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina is now a full two games behind the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots through 13 games played for all 32 teams.
The Panthers do not have much hope to win one of their remaining four games, let alone two, so they will most likely deliver the No. 1 pick to the Bears.
Chicago's own first-round pick dropped to No. 7 because of the franchise's fifth win of the season.
The top five order could change again on Monday night with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans in action on the two-game slate.

Chicago in Great Shape to Pick First
2 of 3
The Bears are in terrific shape to pick first in April.
Carolina suffered its 12th defeat of the season in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon.
That defeat placed the Panthers two losses behind the Cardinals and Patriots, and there is no end in sight for their losing.
The Panthers finish the regular season against the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
All of those teams need as many victories as possible to improve their standing in the AFC and NFC standings.
The Panthers should be viewed as an easy win by all four of those teams.
Carolina just is not capable of keeping up with any opponent right now, and it will go into Week 15 with under 20 points scored in seven straight games.
Chicago's win over the Detroit Lions proved that Fields could be the franchise quarterback, and if the team's front office believes that, the Bears could trade down from No. 1 to some quarterback-hungry teams in order to maximize their return from the selection process.
Monday Night Games Will Play Big Role in Top Five Order
3 of 3
The New York Giants and Tennessee Titans both enter Monday night with 4-8 records.
The two sides currently sit at No. 4 and No. 5 in the current draft order, and if they pull off upsets, they will drop beneath the Bears.
Tennessee is on the road against the Miami Dolphins. The Titans are not expected to win, and a loss would confirm their spot in the top five going into Week 15 because they have a worse strength of schedule than the 4-9 Washington Commanders, who currently sit fourth.
New York has a far less impossible task in front of it against the Green Bay Packers.
The Giants played their best football over the last two weeks, and they might be able to shine defensively against a Green Bay offense without Christian Watson.
If the Giants and Titans both lose, they would move in front of the Commanders in the draft order on the strength of schedule tiebreaker.
A win by either team would position them beneath the Bears because of the same tiebreaker.
