— Good frame that he can add size to if needed and good arm length.

— Strong at the point of attack. Uses his length well to get extension on blocks from offensive linemen.

— Holds his ground well against one-on-one blocks and is solid against double-teams/combo bocks with the balance and sturdy base to help absorb contact.

— Can make tackles with offensive linemen hanging onto him.

— Used at several different alignments in college.

— Robotic movement skills overall. Doesn't show good athleticism or quickness.

— Subpar get-off. Late to react to the snap, which gets worse the further he lines up from the center and false steps initially, hurting the effectiveness of his bull rush.

— Stands up and has poor pad level out of his stance.

— Doesn't have a go-to pass-rush move he can consistently win with, which stems from a lack of athletic ability and bad use of hands.

OVERALL

At a little over 6'4" and 290 pounds, Justin Eboigbie certainly looks the part of an NFL defensive lineman. He has a good frame that he can add weight to if needed.

He's also a good run defender with impressive upper-body strength and long arms to lock out offensive linemen. His sturdy base helps him hold ground against solo blocks, and he has good balance to help absorb contact that he isn't expecting.

Eboigbie has shown the potential to develop a push-pull move and grow as a bull-rusher. However, he'll enter the NFL without a go-to move, and he lacks the movement skills to be able to build on his arsenal beyond winning with power.

Overall, the Alabama product may never be a three-down player in the NFL, and a lot of his production as a rusher this season came via coverage sacks or when unblocked. But he'd be a good fit for a team that's looking for a solid run defender and can play as a 4i- to 5-technique defensive end in odd fronts.
