Updated 2024 NFL Draft Order After Sunday's Week 11 Results
The New York Giants provided the latest twist in the race for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft on Sunday.
The Giants went into FedEx Field and beat the Washington Commanders, a result that moved them out of the No. 2 spot in the projected draft order.
The Arizona Cardinals benefited most from the Giants' unexpected road victory, as they moved in front of the New England Patriots for the second spot.
No change occurred at the top of the 2024 draft order because the Carolina Panthers lost once again, this time to the Dallas Cowboys.
A win does not appear to be in sight for the Panthers, which is exactly what the Chicago Bears want to hear.
Chicago holds Carolina's 2024 first-round pick and it left Week 11 with two selections in the top five.

Cardinals Benefit from Giants Win
2 of 3
Arizona was the biggest winner in the hunt for the No. 1 overall pick on Sunday.
The Cardinals were competitive against the Houston Texans, but fell short against the AFC playoff hopeful.
The defeat dropped the NFC West side to 2-9, and in combination with the Giants' win, the Cardinals moved up to the No. 2 spot in the projected order.
Arizona leaped over the New England Patriots, who were off in Week 11, because it has one more defeat than Bill Belichick's side.
The Cardinals have two games left until their Week 14 bye. They face the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers in two contests that they could win.
Results like they had on Sunday would suit the Cardinals just fine. They can be competitive while Kyler Murray works back to 100 percent as their draft stock improves.
Arizona might win one or both of those games with Murray at 100 percent, and if that happens, another shake up in the draft order will happen.
Any win by a team in the top five will end up benefiting the Bears in some capacity because of their unique edge.
Chicago Holds Pair of Top Four Picks
3 of 3
Talk about an ideal Sunday.
The Bears were competitive against the Detroit Lions for four quarters, but ultimately they lost to a come-from-behind effort by the NFC North leader.
Some Chicago fans may be heartbroken by the result, but the exact opposite feeling should come over the fan base.
The loss kept the Bears as one of six teams with three or fewer wins in the NFL. A win would have put the Bears among an eight-team group with four victories.
Chicago's own draft pick sits at No. 4 in the updated order and the pick it acquired from Carolina is still at No. 1.
Carolina does not have a win in its immediate future. The Panthers start a three-game road swing in Tennessee in Week 12. The Panthers are not home until Week 15, but they have to play Atlanta, Green Bay and Tampa Bay at Bank of America Stadium.
The Panthers could realistically lose out, which is exactly what the Bears want to collect a pair of top-five draft picks.
