NFL Rumors: Packers 'Smitten with' Jordan Love as a Person, Uncertain about QB Future

Although the Green Bay Packers organization has been impressed with quarterback Jordan Love's composure off the field, some members have expressed concerns regarding his future success under center (per Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer).

"I know this: The Packers are smitten with Love as a person. Everyone there wants him to succeed, and I feel confident saying that. But as for where he is as a player, when I've asked, there's been a lot of 'We'll see.'"

Love started off the year strong, throwing for 396 yards and six touchdowns with zero interceptions during Green Bay's first two games. However, he's struggled as of late.

Over the Packers' past three games, Love has completed 61.9 percent of his passes for 608 yards, tossing just three touchdowns compared to six interceptions.

This included an ugly game-sealing pick against the Denver Broncos while Green Bay trailed by two points with under two minutes remaining.

Love expressed his frustrations with the offense's inability to produce down the stretch of tight games. Of the Packers' four losses this season, three have come by four points or less.

"We all know it's ups and downs, but I think everyone's very frustrated," Love said, per USA Today's Ryan Wood. "We've got to find a way to win. Got to find a way to win these games. We've been put in this position multiple times where it comes down to offense has to go win the game, and we have not capitalized on that."

The 24-year-old's next opportunity to fully regain the front office's confidence will come against the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 29.
