WWE News: Possible Spoilers Regarding the WWE Title and Another Top Feud on Raw
Wrestling fans seem to be getting what they want out of Monday Night Raw at the moment.
John Cena is feuding with Kane in a storyline that could give Cena a much-needed character refresh, while CM Punk is holding the WWE Championship. Many are expecting Cena’s angle with Kane to continue for the foreseeable future and for Punk to hold the WWE title to WrestleMania and possibly beyond.
But we might not want to bank on that happening.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
From PWInsider.com (via WrestleNewz.com):
"John Cena vs. Kane for the WWE Title and CM Punk vs. The Miz is being advertised for the January 23rd WWE RAW Supershow from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
"
A couple of important things to take note of here: These advertisements change all the time, and sometimes, the advertised matches don’t necessarily reflect what feuds we’ll see on TV.
That being said, this advertisement could indicate the direction of two top feuds on Raw: The Miz vs. Punk and Cena vs. Kane for the WWE Championship. Obviously, a lot would have to change in the next three weeks, though.
Punk would have to lose the WWE Championship, he’d have to pick back up on a singles feud with The Miz, and either Kane or Cena would have to win the WWE title somehow.
I just don’t see this happening.
There’s not enough time between now and Jan. 23 for all this to go down, nor is their any logical storyline reason why the WWE Championship would all of a sudden be a part of the Kane/Cena feud.
It seems to me like these advertisements are simply flat-out wrong, and someone inadvertently advertised the WWE title match to take place between Kane and Cena instead of Punk and Miz. If that’s not the case anyway, I’d be pretty ticked off.
There’s no reason whatsoever to put the WWE Championship on Cena right now, and very little chance that a Punk title loss could be worked into storylines and make sense.
So, any Punk fans out there shouldn’t get too worried. He’s likely safe as WWE Champion…for now.
