WWE WrestleMania 39: What To Expect in Los Angeles
One of the biggest WrestleManias of all time is on the horizon, with this year's showpiece event emanating from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on April 1-2.
WrestleMania 39 already broke WWE's all-time gate record for a Show of Shows before a single match was announced, and every indication is that the show may set a cumulative 'Mania attendance record over the course of two nights.
Those in attendance in the Greater Los Angeles area and those watching from home will get to experience a stacked card that should yield plenty of historic and memorable moments for years to come.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Ahead of the 2023 edition of The Showcase of the Immortals, here is a look at some of the biggest happenings you can expect to see at WrestleMania 39.
Two Historic Title Reigns Will Come to an End
When WrestleMania 39 takes place, Roman Reigns will have been world champion for well over 900 days, and The Usos will have been tag team champs for 600-plus days.
Reigns' run as undisputed WWE universal champion is the longest since Hulk Hogan's WWE Championship reign of 1,474 days ended in 1988, while The Usos are the longest-reigning tag team champions in company history.
While it is possible WWE could be so satisfied with those runs that the decision-makers want to keep them going, it feels like the perfect place to end both of them and begin telling the story of the implosion of The Bloodline.
In what will almost certainly be the main event of Night 2, The Tribal Chief will put the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line against Cody Rhodes, who won the 2023 men's Royal Rumble match.
Since returning to WWE last year, Rhodes has made it clear that becoming world champion is his No. 1 goal since winning the WWE title is the one major accomplishment his father, Dusty Rhodes, never achieved.
The fans are completely behind The American Nightmare as a top babyface, and he has so much momentum that it is difficult to envision WWE not giving him the ball and allowing him to run with it in the form of winning the world title in the main event of WrestleMania.
As for The Usos, they don't officially have a match set for WrestleMania yet, but all signs point to them defending their titles against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
If that happens as expected, the challengers winning is a must, as it would provide them and the fans with a feel-good moment after watching The Bloodline brutally attack them at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber.
Tag Team Main Event for First Time Since WrestleMania I
While Reigns vs. Rhodes is the obvious main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 39, the show-closer on Night 1 is less clear.
There are two major women's title matches on the bill: Raw women's champion Bianca Belair against Asuka, and SmackDown women's champion Charlotte Flair against Rhea Ripley. Either contest would be deserving of the Night 1 main event slot.
WrestleMania 35 and WrestleMania 37 both featured women's matches in a main event positions, and it stands to reason that WWE would like to continue making it a regular occurrence.
With that said, it has become clear during the build toward The Show of Shows that one potential match stands above the rest in terms of earning a main event spotlight: the likely Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Usos and the team of Zayn and Owens.
Zayn was a member of The Bloodline before refusing to attack Owens at the Royal Rumble, and KO has been trying to destroy the group for months.
The Prizefighter has been reluctant to join forces with his long-term friend, but it seems they now have a common goal.
Jey Uso had been sympathetic toward Zayn and refused to attack him at the Royal Rumble and protected him at Elimination Chamber, but he showed his true colors on Monday's Raw by turning on The Master Strategist and declaring his allegiance to The Bloodline.
WWE typically hasn't placed a ton of emphasis on tag team wrestling in recent years, and the only tag team match to headline WrestleMania to date was at the very first edition in 1985 when Hulk Hogan and Mr. T beat Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff.
Since taking over as the head booker during the summer, Triple H has put his stamp on WWE, and strengthening the tag division has been a big part of it.
At WrestleMania 39, he will take it another step further by putting The Usos, Zayn and Owens in the main event of Night 1.
Surprise Appearances By WWE Legends
With WrestleMania 39 taking place in the second-largest media market in the United States, there is little doubt WWE will do everything in its power to crank up the star power.
The 'Mania card is already shaping up to feature some of the biggest stars of today and the past, including Reigns, Rhodes, Belair, Flair, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Bayley, Lita, Trish Stratus, Edge and John Cena, as well as crossover stars such as Logan Paul.
Given that the theme for the marquee event is "WrestleMania Goes Hollywood," however, it is a safe bet that WWE will attempt to reach beyond the confines of the card to get even more star power on the show.
Both "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock reportedly turned down the chance to compete at WrestleMania, but that doesn't mean they won't be part of the show in some capacity.
Both have made surprise appearances at 'Mania over the years, and in fact they did so along with Hulk Hogan to open WrestleMania 30 in a memorable promo segment.
Austin and The Rock both live in California, so unless they are busy with other projects on April 1 and 2, it conceivably wouldn't take much doing to get them on the show.
Even though they didn't want to work full matches, the fans would love to see them get physical in some way at The Show of Shows if possible.
WWE seemingly has the perfect avenue to integrate them as a pair of cocky heels are attempting to put their stamp on WrestleMania 39.
The Miz has been named the host of the show, while LA Knight has spent the past few weeks insisting there cannot be a 'Mania in L.A. without him playing a significant role.
While it's contingent on the availability of Austin and The Rock, look for WWE to find a way to get both of them on the show, and for them to give both Miz and Knight their comeuppance in a hugely entertaining segment.
