Travis, Jason Kelce's Mom Donna Responds to Petition About Super Bowl 57 Coin Flip

A petition on Change.org has over 150,000 signatures in an effort to get Donna Kelce—the mother of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—to do the coin flip ahead of Super Bowl LVII, given that both of her sons are in the game.

During an appearance on their podcast New Heights, she told her sons she's seen the petition but doesn't feel qualified for the honor (16:30 mark).

"Here's the thing: There are so many legends and people that have their blood, sweat and tears on that field, and for a mom that's never played football, I don't think that's the right place for her to be," she said.

Her sons quickly offered a rebuttal.

"I think you're discounting moms of every player who's ever played," Jason said.

"You're a legendary mom right here," Travis added.

"All moms are legendary," Jason continued.

Donna Kelce then expressed some concern that she might be a distraction for the pair before they faced off in the Super Bowl, but her sons shot that down as well.

It was a cute exchange, and the matchup of the Kelce brothers is one of the more fun storylines heading into Sunday.
