Giants' Julian Love Shades Eagles HC Nick Sirianni: 'He's in for a Free Ride'

New York Giants safety Julian Love does not appear particularly impressed with Eagles coach Nick Sirianni.

Love ripped Sirianni during an appearance Thursday on NFL Network's Good Morning Football.

"He's a guy who really is doing a good job cause he's not getting in the way of his team. He has an experienced roster from top to bottom, offense, defense. ... He's in for a free ride right now. You guys can coach this team," Love said on the show.

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham shot back at Love during his meeting with reporters Thursday, saying "people always got something to say when they're at home."

"He said anybody can coach this team, and it don't matter. At the end of the day, it's on your GM and your president and your people to be able to bring guys in and sign guys and have people want to come to this organization," Graham said. "So, it's a whole bunch of different factors aside from him coaching about coach Sirianni. A lot of people are just mad because of what happened this season, and I understand. It definitely carries no weight because coach proves himself each and every day."

The Eagles ended the Giants' 2022 season with a 38-7 blowout win in the divisional round after sweeping their division rival during the regular season. There's likely some credence to what Graham says about there being some level of professional jealousy, particularly less than two weeks after Love's team ate an embarrassing loss.

Sirianni has not avoided criticism in Philadelphia during his tenure, most notably during the Eagles' struggles early last season. But the team turned things around to reach the playoffs in 2021 and spent much of the 2022 campaign as the best team in football.

It's hard to find any quibbles with how Sirianni has coached the Eagles, loaded roster or not.
