Coach Questions Beck's Personality 🤔
Last time the Birds were in the Super Bowl, Doug Pederson and Nick Foles led the franchise to the promised land. This time around, Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts lifted the team to the Big Game.
Hurts had a solid performance against the 49ers on Sunday, completing 15 of 25 passes for 121 yards. It was the running game that really made an impact, though, as he rushed for 39 yards and one score on 11 carries, in addition to running backs Miles Sanders and Boston Scott combining for three touchdowns in the win
The Philadelphia defense, led by Haason Reddick's two sacks, also had a brilliant afternoon, posting three sacks, five tackles for loss and seven quarterback hits. It also limited the 49ers offense to just 164 yards.
After the win, Eagles fans praised Hurts for his performance and leading the team back to the Super Bowl:
Hurts and the Eagles have put together a magical season. From finishing the regular season with a 14-3 record to clinching a berth in Super Bowl LVII, Philly has the opportunity to once again be at the top of the NFL stratosphere.
The Eagles will take on the winner of the AFC Championship Game—either the Cincinnati Bengals or the Kansas City Chiefs—in the Super Bowl on Feb. 12 in Arizona.
