NFL Playoffs 2023: Vegas Odds, Top Fantasy Picks for Saturday Divisional Games

Joe TanseyJan 21, 2023

Travis Kelce has been one of the NFL's most consistent postseason performers over the last three years.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has five 100-yard receiving performances in his last nine postseason games. He produced 95 and 96 yards in two of those other games.

Kelce should be one of the top fantasy picks for Saturday's two-game NFL divisional-round slate.

Patrick Mahomes' favorite target should receive plenty of targets in the AFC battle against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Kansas City is expected to have the larger margin of victory over Jacksonville than the Philadelphia Eagles will have over the New York Giants. Andy Reid's team is a nine-point favorite, while Reid's former team has a 7.5-point line in its favor.

Philadelphia's roster possesses another top fantasy target in Jalen Hurts. The third-year quarterback had three total touchdowns against the Giants in Week 14, and he has the potential to put a large stat line in his first-career home postseason contest.

Travis Kelce has been unstoppable over the last three postseasons.

The Kansas City tight end averaged 96.2 receiving yards in his last nine postseason games. He has 10 touchdown catches in that span.

Kelce could be even more important to the Chiefs on Saturday because it marks the team's first postseason game since Tyreek Hill's departure.

Hill had 23 catches during last season's run to the AFC Championship Game. He had four 100-yard playoff performances in his last three seasons with Kansas City.

Other players will be targeted by Patrick Mahomes, but you would have to think Kelce receives the bulk of the important targets on third down and in the red zone.

Kelce could end up as the most-rostered player in daily fantasy football contests and one of the most bet-on players on the player prop market.

Kelce's over/under for receiving yards is set at 79.5, and his receptions over/under is listed at 6.5. He is -155 to score one touchdown and +400 to find the end zone twice.

Kansas City's top pass-game target could hit the over on both props and cash the touchdown prop against a Jacksonville defense that let up 12 receptions to three Los Angeles Chargers tight ends in the wild-card round.

The Jaguars conceded the fourth-most receiving yards to tight ends and tied for the ninth-most touchdowns allowed to players at the position in the regular season.

Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts was one of the most reliable fantasy football players in the regular season.

The Philadelphia quarterback threw for 22 scores and accounted for 13 more end-zone trips on the ground.

Hurts produced 294 total yards and three total touchdowns in the Week 14 win over the New York Giants. That was the only Eagles-Giants regular-season game in which both sets of starters played.

The Most Valuable Player candidate had 243 total yards and zero touchdowns in his return from injury in Week 18 against New York's reserves.

The hope for Hurts is that the week off that came with the NFC's No. 1 seed allowed him to heal his injured shoulder more so he can be close to full strength on Saturday.

A fully healthy Hurts has the potential to hit some of his player props. His passing yards over/under sits at 245.5, his rushing yard over/under is 51.5 and he is -115 to score a rushing touchdown. His line is -160 to throw over 1.5 touchdowns.

Hurts had four 300-yard passing games, two of which came in Weeks 13 and 15 as the Eagles were gearing up for the postseason. He ran for over 50 yards on seven occasions, including in the 48-22 win over the Giants in Week 14.

Hurts' biggest value to fantasy players and bettors will be his touchdowns. He had at least three total touchdowns in Weeks 13, 14 and 15 before he missed two games with a shoulder injury.

If that version of Hurts shows up on Saturday, he will have one of the biggest stat lines in the divisional round.
