Week 10 DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks, Lineup Tips for Sunday
A slate of 12 NFL games will begin early on Sunday. That's because the league's first regular-season contest to be held in Germany will be taking place, as the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off in Munich.
There will be plenty of exciting action to follow. The Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings will face off in a battle between two of the NFL's top teams. A pair of storied franchises will meet in the Dallas Cowboys-Green Bay Packers clash. And the night matchup will feature the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers.
Many of the other games could be thrilling, too. Plus, there are sure to be some standout fantasy performances, which daily fantasy players are trying to predict to accumulate the most possible points during Sunday's action.
So, here's some advice to take into consideration when submitting an entry on DraftKings or FanDuel for Sunday's Week 10 action.
Pay Big to Center Lineup Around Barkley
1 of 3
Saquon Barkley ranks third in the NFL in rushing at 779 yards. On Sunday, the Giants running back will go up against a Houston Texans defense that is allowing an NFL-high 180.6 rushing yards per game and is giving up the most fantasy points to RBs, per NFL.com.
In other words, Barkley should have a huge game. So the 25-year-old is a great choice to be the centerpiece of a DFS lineup this week, even though he'll come at a hefty price ($8,600 on DraftKings; $9,500 on FanDuel).
Barkley has scored a touchdown in five of his first eight games this season. He hasn't yet had a multi-TD game, but that could change in this favorable matchup vs. the Texans. Plus, the Giants are clearly the better team and should be working with a lead in the second half, which should give Barkley a ton of touches and an opportunity to rack up yards.
This is a prime opportunity for Barkley to have one of his biggest games of the year, and DFS managers can't afford to miss out on it. It's highly likely that the best lineups on Sunday will have the Penn State product in them.
Fields Should Again Provide Tremendous Value
2 of 3
In recent weeks, Justin Fields has been putting up huge numbers, as this is turning into a breakout sophomore season for the Bears quarterback. Yet, he still isn't too expensive in DFS in Week 10 ($6,500 on DraftKings; $8,300 on FanDuel).
Fields is a great QB for lineups on Sunday. Not only is the 23-year-old on a roll, but Chicago is hosting its NFC North rival the Detroit Lions, so its offense is poised for success. The Lions are giving up 417.3 total yards per game, and no other NFL team is averaging 400 or more.
Detroit is also allowing the third-most fantasy points to QBs, per NFL.com. So it's likely to have quite a bit of trouble against Fields, who has scored a rushing touchdown in three straight games and had a career-high three TD passes last week vs. the Miami Dolphins.
There's a chance that Fields is the top fantasy quarterback for Week 10. And because he's not priced as the most expensive DFS QB, he's again a great value play for Sunday.
Pickens Could Be a Bargain Play at WR
3 of 3
Looking for a high-ceiling wide receiver who will come at a low price on Sunday? Consider putting George Pickens in your DFS lineup, as the Steelers' rookie wide receiver should have a bounce-back performance after struggling in Pittsburgh's last game.
Pickens had no catches in the Steelers' Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the first time he didn't have a reception in a game during his debut NFL season. So it makes sense that the 21-year-old has a low DFS price ($5,000 on DraftKings; $5,600 on FanDuel) for Pittsburgh's Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Even though Pickens hasn't put up huge numbers, he's been heavily involved in the Steelers' offense. He's been targeted six or more times in five of the team's past six games. And now, the Pittsburgh receiving corps no longer has Chase Claypool, who was dealt to the Chicago Bears ahead of the Nov. 1 trade deadline.
Expect Pickens to get a lot of opportunities to make plays, and that could lead to his second touchdown in three games. If that happens, then the Georgia product would deliver for those who took a chance on him in DFS lineups.
