WWE: Will Randy Orton's Injury Leave Freshen Him Up as a Character?
With Randy Orton being out for an injury, this gives him a chance to come back with a renewed focus and a new character change.
Randy has been operating as a face for a while now and while I think he has done really well, I think he may need to come back as a heel.
WWE has a lack of strong heels right now, and Orton was arguably the most successful heel of the last few years. His time on Raw showed what he was able to do as a bad guy and, frankly, I miss those days.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
His time as a heel was incredible and he had some of the best feuds and angles in WWE while he was punting people in the head.
His feud with the McMahon family helped elevate him to the status of the top heel in the company, even surpassing Edge at the time in terms of screen time.
Lately, Orton has been having more fun in the ring during his matches and WWE is utilizing his new fun-loving image more, but now he needs to re-evaluate whether or not that is what is best for him.
There is no arguing the success Orton had as a heel. He held more titles and was always in the main events—now he is just below the main event scene and it may be because he is no longer the bad guy.
I like Orton as a face, but I liked him more as a heel, which is one reason I think that when Orton returns, it should be as a heel.
One way to justify it would be to have him talk about how he never had title matches while he was playing the fan favorite on SmackDown.
Having Orton be the bad guy against someone like Daniel Bryan as the champion would make for some great matches, and let's not forget that Orton has not had a major program with Big Show, so there is another face he can feud with.
SmackDown needs more heel talent and Orton can fill that void. What do you think: Should Orton use his time away and come back as a heel or is he better as a face?
