Week 7 DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks, Lineup Tips for Sunday

Jake RillOct 23, 2022

Sunday's Week 7 slate features a dozen games, including a prime-time night matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins. Before that, there should be plenty of exciting action, even with some of the NFL's top teams not playing this week.

The only remaining undefeated team in the league is the Philadelphia Eagles (6-0), who have a bye. The Buffalo Bills (5-1), Minnesota Vikings (5-1) and Los Angeles Rams (3-3) will also be out of action.

But there will be plenty of other strong teams with talented players taking the field Sunday. So, who should be picked to fill out daily fantasy lineups on DraftKings or FanDuel from the 11 afternoon/evening games on the schedule?

Here's some advice to help DFS managers for Sunday's Week 7 matchups.

Build Your Lineup Around a Chargers Stack

The Chargers have one of the best aerial attacks in the NFL. Led by quarterback Justin Herbert, Los Angeles is averaging 280 passing yards per game this season, the third most in the league. And that's going to be difficult for the Seattle Seahawks to stop on Sunday.

The Seahawks are giving up 410.8 total yards per game (third most in the NFL), with 245 of those coming through the air. So this should be a great opportunity for Herbert to put up big numbers, especially because Seattle's offense has the potential to make this a competitive back-and-forth game.

Herbert ($7,200 on DraftKings; $8,100 on FanDuel) is one of the more expensive DFS quarterbacks, but he should be worth that price. In fact, it may even be wise to stack him with his top wide receiver.

Keenan Allen continues to deal with a hamstring injury, and he's questionable for Sunday's game. If he's out again, then Mike Williams ($7,200 on DraftKings; $7,800 on FanDuel) will be in line for a big showing against the Seahawks' defense.

A stack featuring Herbert and Williams seems like a great starting spot for a DFS lineup this Sunday, as the duo should combine for a large number of fantasy points.

Robinson Should Provide Strong Value at RB

Brian Robinson has quickly emerged as the lead back in Washington's offense in recent weeks. It's been a tremendous story, as Robinson was shot twice in his right leg shortly before the season started and still returned to make his NFL debut in Week 5.

After recording nine carries for 22 yards on a limited snap count in the Commanders' Week 5 loss to the Tennessee Titans, Robinson had a much larger workload in Week 6. He rushed the ball 17 times for 60 yards and scored the first touchdown of his NFL career in a win over the Chicago Bears.

It seems likely Robinson will continue to get more carries than Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic, so the rookie is an intriguing DFS option for Week 7. Washington is hosting the Green Bay Packers, who are allowing 135.2 rushing yards per game, the sixth most in the NFL.

Robinson is available at an affordable price ($5,500 on DraftKings; $6,100 on FanDuel), making him a great choice for DFS lineups on Sunday. He should again get plenty of touches, and he's likely to make the most of them against a beatable Packers defensive front.

Take a Chance on Otton at Tight End

Cade Otton hasn't been putting up huge numbers during his rookie season, as he's been blocked on the Buccaneers' depth chart by Cameron Brate. But when given opportunities, Otton has shown that he could become a solid receiving option in Tampa Bay's offense.

In Week 5, Otton filled in for Brate and had six catches for 43 yards in the Bucs' win over the Atlanta Falcons. He'll get another opportunity for more playing time this Sunday, as Brate has been ruled out for Tampa Bay's game against the Carolina Panthers due to a neck injury.

This should be a great opportunity for the Buccaneers to get back on track after losing three of their past four games to fall to 3-3. It's also a great matchup for Otton, as the struggling Panthers will likely have trouble against Tom Brady and the Bucs' passing attack.

So if you're looking for a sleeper tight end to save some of your DFS budget for other positions, Otton ($2,700 on DraftKings; $4,900 on FanDuel) is a solid option. Now that he's gotten some NFL experience, his first career touchdown could be coming at any time, and Sunday seems like a prime opportunity for him to get into the end zone.
