Fantasy Football 2022: Mock Draft for Top RBs, WRs, Team Names and More
Quarterbacks might be king in the NFL, but in the fantasy football realm, it's all about running backs and receivers.
For all of the various paths you can take to a league title, good luck traversing any of them without multiple difference-makers at one—or, ideally, both—of the positions.
We're here to give these positions their proper due by crafting a two-round mock exclusively around them, highlighting our top sleepers at those spots and finally presenting some running back- and receiver-themed team names to consider.

Running Backs
Melvin Gordon, Denver Broncos
Gordon may not be "the guy" in Denver anymore, but he won't be discarded the way he has been this draft season (96.7 average draft position, per FantasyPros). Just last year, he delivered 1,131 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns.
Marlon Mack, Houston Texans
The Dameon Pierce hype train might have left the station, but Mack might be the best home run hitter in Houston. Injuries have limited him in recent years, but in 2018 and 2019, he averaged 4.6 yards per touch and scored 18 touchdowns in 26 games.
Wide Receivers
Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers
Lazard is primed to be the new preferred target of Aaron Rodgers, which could mean fantasy fireworks are in his future. Last season, while sitting a distant second on the pecking order behind Davante Adams, he turned his 60 targets into 40 receptions for 513 yards and eight touchdowns.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kansas City Chiefs
There are a mountain of opportunities waiting to be claimed in Kansas City after the offseason departures of Tyreek Hill (159 targets) and Byron Pringle (60). If Smith-Schuster commands a good chunk of them, his 76.0 ADP will look foolish in hindsight. In the two seasons during which he's played 16 games, he has averaged 104 receptions for 1,128.5 yards and eight touchdowns.
