Jake Paul Offers Will Smith, Chris Rock $15M Each to Fight on His Undercard in August
Will Smith got paid $0 to smack Chris Rock at the Oscars.
Jake Paul wants to rectify that by backing up the Brinks truck to get the two celebrities in an actual boxing ring.
The social media star said he could offer Smith and Rock $15 million apiece to fight on his August undercard.
The world remains abuzz after one of the most shocking moments in Oscars history, which saw Smith come onstage and open-hand slap Rock after the comedian made a "G.I. Jane" joke about Smith's wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith.
"Keep my wife's name out your f--kin' mouth," Smith screamed at Rock after returning to his seat.
Pinkett Smith shaved her head last year after dealing with hair loss related to alopecia, an autoimmune skin condition.
In the moment, the situation was so bizarre that some felt the whole thing was a sketch, but it soon became apparent that it wasn't. Smith would later win the Academy Award for Best Actor in King Richard and apologize during his acceptance speech.
"I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. ... I look like the crazy father, just like they said about Richard Williams. But love will make you do crazy things," Smith said.
We'll have to see whether love will compel Smith to step into a boxing ring and really duke things out.
