Eagles Rumors: A.J. Brown's Knee Injury Not Believed to Be Serious Ahead of Bucs Game

The knee injury suffered by Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown during Sunday's 27-10 loss to the New York Giants is not believed to be serious, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Brown suffered the injury in the first half and was ultimately ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Brown has been fairly durable during his career and played at least 13 games in each of his first four seasons in the league. He appeared in all 17 games for the Eagles in 2022 during his first year with the team.

When healthy, the Ole Miss product is one of the better wide receivers in the league.

He surpassed the 1,000-yard mark in each of his first two seasons with the Tennessee Titans and then posted career-best numbers last season with Philadelphia. He finished the campaign with 88 catches for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns and then helped lead the team to the Super Bowl.

Brown has remained dominant with 105 catches for 1,447 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 games coming into Sunday.

While Brown is the Eagles' No. 1 option, they will have to rely more on, Olamide Zaccheaus and Julio Jones for the duration of Sunday's game. The hope will be that both Brown and DeVonta Smith, who didn't play Sunday with an ankle injury, will be able to play in next week's Wild Card Round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
