NFL All-Pro Voting 2011: Slam Dunks for This Year's All-Pros

Zach KruseDec 28, 2011

The following players should be slam-dunk picks for the 2011 NFL All-Pro teams, which are released before the Super Bowl.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

Tom Brady may warrant some consideration by the time it's said and done, but Rodgers and Brees have been hands-down the top two quarterbacks this season. Rodgers will likely be first-team, with Brees on the second.

Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars

LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles

No running back has been more consistently solid this season than Jones-Drew, who has 80 or more yards rushing in 14 games. McCoy leads all running backs in total touchdowns with 20. Both are deserving of All-Pro nods.

Vonta Leach, Baltimore Ravens

No fullback has warranted more respect over the past couple of seasons than Leach, who again paved the way for another 1,000-yard rusher this year.

Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions

There's little doubt in league circles who the best receiver in the NFL is right now. Johnson is second in the NFL in receiving yards (1,437) and first in touchdowns (15).

Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots

You're going to be hard-pressed not to call Gronkowski's 2011 season the best ever by a tight end. With 15 touchdowns (16 total), the second-year player should be the easy choice for All-Pro.

Jahri Evans, New Orleans Saints

The best guard in football has done nothing this season to loosen his hold on an annual All-Pro spot.

Jared Allen, Minnesota Vikings

Jason Babin, Philadelphia Eagles

Both Allen (18.5) and Babin (18) can take a late run at Michael Strahan's NFL record for sacks in a season (22.5). Neither will likely get there, but the duo should find themselves comfortably placed on the All-Pro list.

DeMarcus Ware, Dallas Cowboys

Ware is the most dominant pass-rushing outside linebacker in football, and his 18 sacks this season prove it. He's the only player at his position that can feel secure in his All-Pro selection.

David Akers, San Francisco 49ers

Akers set the NFL record for field goals made in a season. He should be the easy choice at kicker.
