June 6, 2021
Floyd Mayweather is preparing for a big payday from his exhibition bout against Logan Paul and is already spending big on cars.
According to TMZ Sports, the boxer bought nine 2021 cars over the past week from Chop of Towbin Auto Group in Las Vegas. The haul includes one Rolls-Royce White Ghost, one Mercedes S560, one Maybach sedan, one Dodge Journey, two Dodge Chargers and three Dodge Challengers.
The cars, which cost about $1 million combined, will reportedly go to his closest friends, family and team members except for the Rolls-Royce, which Mayweather bought for himself.
While this is a pricey move for anyone, Mayweather expects to make $50-100 million from Sunday's fight against Paul, per TMZ Sports.
The 44-year-old has already brought in plenty of money from his career, making an estimated $915 million from 2010-19 as the highest-paid athlete of the decade, per Kurt Badenhausen of Forbes.
