Mayweather vs. Paul Weigh-In: Results and Reaction for Pre-Fight Event

The circus-like atmosphere leading up to the exhibition boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul continued at the weigh-in Saturday.

Paul came in at 189.5 pounds, while Mayweather is 155 pounds, the type of massive weight advantage that would never make it through a professional boxing match if it weren't for Mayweather's massive experience advantage.

The former pound-for-pound king seemed uncharacteristically subdued in his comments, expressing a quiet confidence he won't face much of a challenge.

"Height don't win fights. Weight don't win fights. Fighting wins fights at the end of the day, and I can fight," Mayweather said. "Once again, I'm not worried about a hat. I don't worry about what nobody say. One thing I can do, I can fight. I've been at the top level for 25 years, so I know what it takes when there's a fight of this magnitude."

Few expect anything short of sheer domination from Mayweather, who was 50-0 as a pro before retiring after defeating Conor McGregor in 2017. Paul is a YouTuber with an 0-1 record who isn't even the best boxer in his family; it's his brother, Jake, who has taken the boxing world by storm.

That said, Paul's heavy underdog status didn't stop him from issuing a wild quote about what to expect.

"This is not the biggest fight of my life. This is the biggest fight of his life," Paul said. "Cuz he's got a lot on the line, and he got everything to lose. I'mma go in there and have fun. The fact that I'm even up here proves this s--t is a simulation, none of it's real, the aliens are coming in June, just be ready. Tomorrow, I break the f--kin' simulation and beat the greatest boxer in the history of the planet."

Well, that is...certainly one way to build hype for a fight! Let's hope those aforementioned UFOs don't come before Paul's able to prove he can "break the simulation."
