Warriors' Klay Thompson Talks 2019 NBA Finals, Drake, More in IG Video from Boat
Klay Thompson misses being on the court after sitting out the last two seasons because of injuries, but he's still living his best life.
The Golden State Warriors guard went live Saturday on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of some offseason boating and speaking on a number of topics—including a lot of Drake talk.
"Shoutout Drake, artist of the decade. Man, that's impressive. We had a little beef. We had the city turnt up [during the 2019 NBA Finals]. That's my last taste of hoops, man. NBA Finals. I miss it. There's nothing like the Finals. Nothing like it," Thompson said.
Thompson's recovery timeline remains unclear as he rehabs from a ruptured right Achilles suffered in November. While the Warriors have pumped the brakes on his being ready for the 2021-22 season, it's clear he's ready to get back out there.
Thompson said his goal was to be "efficient"—mentioning having a 50-40-90 season—and that he will just be happy to get back on the floor.
