Ratings were down for Monday night's episode of WWE Raw, headlined by a WWE Championship No. 1 contender match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston.

According to Pro Wrestling Torch, Raw averaged 1.418 million viewers during its three-hour broadcast on USA Network, a decrease from last week's 1.621 million.

First hour 1.536 and second hour 1.549 million viewers. I've asked if the third hour number is a typo because that is a huge dropoff.

In the main event of Raw, McIntyre and Kingston clashed for the second week in a row. The stakes were huge, as the winner would go on to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE title at Hell in a Cell.

Lashley was banned from ringside after interfering the previous week, so he watched from backstage as McIntyre and Kingston took the fight to each other in hopes of earning a championship opportunity.

Ultimately, The Scottish Warrior caught Kofi with a Claymore Kick in midair after Kingston jumped from the top rope, allowing McIntyre to win and become No. 1 contender once again.

Raw also featured a match for the Raw Tag Team Championships, pitting AJ Styles and Omos against Elias and Jaxson Ryker.

Styles and Omos retained the titles in only their second championship defense since winning them at WrestleMania 37, as Elias turned on Ryker and walked out, allowing the champs to take advantage of the two-on-one situation.

There was a heavy influence from the women's division on Raw as well with Charlotte Flair failing to beat Nikki Cross in under two minutes in part of a Beat the Clock Challenge, Reginald defeating Shayna Baszler thanks to a distraction from Alexa Bliss, and the team of Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke beating Lana and Naomi.

Also on Raw, Randy Orton defeated Xavier Woods, T-Bar and Mace beat Lucha House Party, Cedric Alexander defeated Shelton Benjamin, and both Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo helped each other in beating Sheamus in separate matches.
