Sup Everybody, my name is Joe Burgett, top ranked wrestling writer currently for B/R. I have always been a wrestling fan, but also I am a big just sports fan. I live in a place where college football is the sport. So it is one thing I am into.

I am currently in college taking TV Broadcasting, yet I want to get into both Radio and TV in my career. Writing is something I love to do, because I can share my opinion. That is why B/R is so great for me.

Wrestling is a big passion for me, I have written for websites a lot on news and what not. But I could only do news and not share my opinion. And I am very opinionated, trust me. I will tell you my opinion because they are mine, if you don't like them I am sorry. We will have to agree to disagree.

A political guy myself, I'm a Navy vet who is finishing up his undergrad in political science and hoping to start law school in the fall. I follow mostly football and professional/amateur wrestling or MMA. I think that college basketball is OK, but is getting way too close to being like the pros, which quite frankly sucks because it's 10 guys trying to put together their own individual highlight reel.

My earliest sports memory is spending a Sunday watching a NASCAR race with my father. It was August 18, 1991, and the race was the Champion Spark Plug 400 from the Michigan International Speedway. The last lap was an absolute drag race between Dale Jarrett and the late Davey Allison. I can remember standing about two feet away from the television, jumping up and down rooting for Allison, and my father next to me rooting for Jarrett. As the cars crossed the finish line, I thought Allison had won. I am a huge sports fan. I follow my home town teams. I work as a system administrator. I've never done a lot of writing. I tend to write a lot of opinionated things. If something grinds my gears you'll probably hear from me. I've been watch pro wrestling since I was 4 years old. The first wrestling event I remember watching was Survivor Series 1987. Growing up I was a huge Chicago Bulls fan before Jordan first retirement. After he retired I became a NY Knicks and still am til this day.
