Born in London Ontario, have grown up around and played the game for several years. Obtained my Water Distribution Operator ticket from Sacramento State Unniversity and work for the city of Vernon BC. Have some relatives in the game, cant mention any names, I dont want my info lines to be denied haha. Hope you enjoy my stuff, more to come!

Name's Nelson Santos. Banker by day, amateur hockey analyst by night. Big time Flyers fan.

Dream job would be Amateur Scout. I'd work for any of the 30 teams in the NHL.

I still play the great game myself as well as watch and analyze as many games as the wife and kids will allow.

Favorite hockey quotes:
Stephen Leacock: "Hockey captures the essence of Canadian experience in the New World. In a land so inescapably and inhospitably cold, hockey is the chance of life, and an affirmation that despite the deathly chill of winter we are alive."
Herb Brooks, 1980 US Olympic hockey coach: "You don't have enough talent to win on talent alone."
Wayne Gretzky: "You miss 100% of the shots you never take."

Just love hockey and the Flames. I have followed this team through the thick and the thin. When I was a kid growing up in Northern Alberta (Oilers country) I used to wear my Flames Jersey to school, only to get dumped into the lost and found box by the bigger kids. I followed this team when they won the cup, and I followed this team when they went 7 years without making the playoffs. In general my body somewhat hibernates in the offseason of the NHL.
