I am a Portland, Ore. native and a graduate of Boston College (Chestnut Hill, Mass.).

Baseball is my favorite sport. I think college football season—especially bowl season—is high time to travel (and catch as many games as possible, of course). I am fascinated by the Irish sport of hurling and occasionally watch matches online. I believe ice hockey deserves its rank in the four major sports, even though I can't play it worth a lick.
