Bob's Bio

Bob has been a lifelong avid Tribe fan for over 50 years now, living and dying with the Tribe teams and players over the many years.

Born and living his entire life (other than military service) in Indiana, he chose to follow the Cleveland Indians (as well as the Browns) instead of picking the Cubs or White Sox like most of his buddies did. It helped that his oldest brother, who he idolized, was a Tribe/Browns fan but also because of players like Bobby Avila, Bob Feller, Herb Score, Al Rosen, Larry Doby, Rocky Colavito, etc.

Bob played all the sports available to him throughout his school years and later coached a number of teams in baseball and basketball. Baseball was always the game he loved to follow, many times trying to listen to games on a radio that might pick up part of the broadcast for a couple of batters at a time. His brother taught him how to keep score for baseball games and he still does on most of the Tribe games that he watches.

Bob and his wife travel to Cleveland about to see 3-4 games about every year and have seen the Tribe play games in Chicago and Cincy.

Having retired at an early age, Bob and his wife Treva are enjoying their new two grandchilden. The MLB extra innings package allows them to see most Indian's games and to check in on a number of other teams. This helps him to be more accurate and up to date with players and teams as far as his writings and postings.
