Pat's Bio

I'm just your average 17-year-old kid with a love for sports. While basketball and football keep me interested, baseball is my thing. A lot of people throw around the term "baseball is my passion," but it's more than that for me; baseball is part of my life. A day without baseball is terrible for me, and the offseason is downright horrific. I think I'm just as knowledgeable as the next guy about baseball, and I guess you'll see if you read my articles.

The Short List What Pat thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  • Favorite Athletes

Don't really have one. I like some things in some athletes, and I don't like some things. Every athlete is different in what they offer, be it on or off the field.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, University of Illinois Basketball/Football, University of DePaul Blue Demons Basketball, University of Notre Dame Football/Basketball

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Back-to-back-to-back HRs by Tadahito Iguchi, Aaron Rowand, and Paul Konerko followed by a 3-run HR by Chris Widger, all off New York Yankees starter Randy Johnson. This keyed a 6-run inning, and the White Sox would win the game 6-2, ending a 7 game losing streak that many critics claimed was the beginning of a collapse for the eventual 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

I think Cal Ripken's 2,632 straight games played record will be the toughest, but I believe that every record can and eventually will be broken.

  • Ruth or Mays?

    Ruth

  • Unitas or Montana?

    Unitas

  • Pele or Maradona?

    Pele

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?
