My passion is in the pride of the team in green. A lifetime basketball fan, I was "converted" into a C's fan after following the 76ers in the late 70's and early 80's. The Philly route isn't the traditional path, but once I truly understood the game of roundball -- there was no other team to follow than the Boston Celtics. As Red Auerbach put it, "The Boston Celtics are more than just a basketball team, it's a way of life." Truer words were never spoken.

Thanks for the add as a favorite writer Dennis! We can never have too many Celtics fans on here... especially if they somehow converted from being a Philly fan. Truly a rare commodity!
