Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, I have been a sports FANATIC closely following the action in Motown for years. Even with his current residence being in Southern California, I continue to closely follow my favorite teams. Even though the Red Wings provide me with at least some hope for the city I once called home, the Lions, Tigers and Pistons have me feeling like I got hit by a truck. Where could Detroit have gone so horribly off course? With a passion for sports, and a matching love for writing, I dream of one day telling my kids to NEVER root for Detroit teams.
