About

I am a sophomore college student at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where I am obtaining a degree in economics, with a minor in sociology. I have considered graduate school but I will address it properly when the time comes. I was born in Anaheim, CA and that was where I became an Anaheim Angels baseball fan.

I have experience playing many sports including Swimming, Track, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Golf, and I find them all interesting. I have adequate writing experience, but more importantly I like to first, try to understand where others perspectives on sports come from and second, see if they agree with my own from my experience.

If there's one thing that upsets me the most in sports, it's the culture of bad refferees in basketball, yes it is a culture, and with so many points being scored and the power of momentum on a strong run, the wrong calls can make all the difference. Which is why I don't understand why the officials use the review on such a limited basis, and why some refs will only call a foul when a kid gets ran over because it's noticeable, rather than rewarding those who grind it out and stay on their feet rather than selling themselves to a ref's call. I have all day to argue about basketball refs which is ony of my more controversial topics.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Bob Sanders, Brandon Roy, Andre Johnson, Dirk Nowitzki,

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Anaheim Angels, San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills

  • All Time Sports Moment

Boise State's win against Oklahoma which lasted well past 11:30 p.m. just to find something to watch before I went to bed :-). Next would be the 1985 NCAA Basketball Championship 9 seed Villanova upsetting #1 (ranked) Georgetown with Patrick Ewing. Villanova missed 2 field goal attempts the entire game, none in the second half, that's perfection that's well past the NBA level.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

I saw two of the best quarterbacks in the history of the NFL go at it, Elway v. Favre, how many people get to see that type of a showdown in their life, that's one for the record books. I remember watching the Packers blowout the Broncos, amazing, and at Lambeau Field, the Mecca for football fans, where it all began.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Joe Montana, the king of clutch in the Super Bowl.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

Big east, it may not have the best teams at times, but they certainly have the most competitive teams with each other, and more good teams than any other conference (mainly due to it's size). In football I like the SEC, they always have tough teams who grind it out with each other as well and makes it enjoyable to watch.

So your telling me in MY mock draft, I can not have a team choose one OR the other? As in, it could go either way. I changed it to say "or" for your sake. And where are these supposed "rules to a mock draft" located? I would sure like to see them.

Other than that, thank you for the comment

Hey Andrew—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our College Football page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Dave Mo

It's hard to keep up with everything going on with the Buckeyes, but I've done my best to wrap it up. Check it out!
