Who Is the Greatest Goalie of All Time?
04/09/2009
I am an avid traveller, who loves exploring new places and meeting intriguing and fascinating people. I am a perpetual college student. So far at 30 years of age, I have spent about 3 quarters of my life in school and I plan on going back again in the fall. I write poetry and fiction. I study politics and philosophy. I hate convention and conformity. I love adventure and good conversation. I watched my first full hockey game in the Spring of 1986. The Montreal Canadiens won the Stanley Cup that night. I have been a die hard fan ever since.
Hello Habs community member,
Hope all is well.
Our dear Habs dropped game one to the hands of the big bad Bruins, thoughts and comments are welcomed in the post game article,

Greetings fellow Habs community member,
The playoffs are starting in just two days, and while we are all gearing up with our lucky jerseys and our favourite beers (for those who are legally old enough), our beloved Canadiens are getting ready to make the most of the new chance that has been given to them with this playoff ticket.
Exciting times, exciting times.
Bleacher has always been a place of gathering and debating for us Hockey fans. This time again, we will take the playoffs and our views in our own writings, with a series of articles in partnership with the Boston Bruins community (details in the following link).

So please come in and be part of it, to add to our already exciting playoffs atmosphere!
Comments, suggestions and ideas are more than welcomed on the Community Leaders’ boards. Tell us what you think, what you want to add and such!
Happy playoffs and GO HABS GO!

BIG SIGH OF RELIEF! lol
we made it, yes we made it, we are in the playoffs. it wasnt without pain, but now at least they realize the hard work that a second round will require.
the game against Boston on Thursday is i think my favorite of the year. our boys had passion and determination, they wanted that win even more since they hate the other team. it is the only way to play a good game of Hockey.
Price vs Thomas: Thomas has gained a lot of confidence after this fairytale season, but he does make his mistakes and we still need to see what kind of goalie will show up in the playoffs. our key is for Price not to choke. he can be better than Thomas, in this case last year's playoffs can be a motivator. and if he plays like he did in the second period of the game against the Penguins, that is a big asset.
our defense against their offense: that is where things can be tricky. we do not have as a tight defense core as we would have wished, especially with Markov out and Komisarek who just turned to be target number one for the bruins.
our offense against their defense: kovalev koivu tanguay line needs support from the others. big guys like Latendresse needs to get his physical play on a higher level .
and of course the physical play: teach O'Byrn to boxe, put Laraque in the line up, remind Latendresse that he weights 225lb, and we can deal with it.
so yes i do believe we can get through if Gainey brings the necessary adjustments and pass on some messages to his players. one thing for sure, this will be fun!
take care my friend,
miah ;)
