I am a 31 year old, married father of one. I've followed Mixed Martial Arts since the very first UFC in November of 1993. I trained Mixed Martial Arts for over four years. I've trained in all aspects. Boxing, muay thai, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and wrestling. I started off training at local gyms in Illinois. Then on to a Miletich camp in Missouri. In early 2008 I joined the HIT SQUAD in Granite City, IL. Which is run by Matt Hughes, and Robbie Lawler. In February of 09 I decided to take the summer off of training to spend with my wife and 3 year old son. I will be returning to the HIT SQUAD in November of 2009 to focus on lining up some fights throughout 2010.

    My biggest shame is that I was an English teacher and MS has eaten away all the knowledge I used to have about spelling and grammar. When I write it is terribly frustrating after years of being my family's resource for information and now I have to beg them to spell simple words for me or find my ever vanishing dictionary for me. It has been quite a fall from grace to end up in this position and I don't know how much longer I have to be able to function. I do enjoy helping others where I can, but my big piece of advice is always to write on something you feel very passionate about. Find the right subject and the rest is a piece of cake!
