Stamati's Bio

Hi,

I'm originally from a small town in South Jersey located about two minutes outside of Philadelphia. I moved out to San Jose to go to college and have been here ever since.

I'm a die hard Philly fan but I have love for the Bay Area teams too, especially the Sharks and the Warriors.

Currently, I've been staying active playing softball, indoor soccer, and now semi-pro football (SJ Predators).

I like going to concerts and nightlife in San Francisco. I'm not sure what I wanna be when I grow up so for now I'm just taking it one day at a time.

All Time Sports Moment

When Bo Jackson ran up the wall after catching that fly ball in KC.

Most Memorable Game Attended

Eagles vs Giants - Dec '01. It was freezing that night and I bought fake tickets from a scalper for $75 each. They were so good though that they got us in the door anyway. The only thing was that our seats didn't exist so we stole two random seats in the lower level on the 50 Yard Line.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

I would say Wayne Gretzky's goals in a season but with the new rules it seems more likely to happen.

Ruth or Mays?

Babeeee Ruth

Unitas or Montana?

Montana to Rice...Classic.

Pele or Maradona?

You mean, bicycle kick or hand ball??? I'll go with the bicycle.

  3. Hey! Great Sharks article. I'm sick and tired of hearing people say that they're peaking too soon. If anything, it's great momentum heading into the playoffs. Keep the articles coming, Stamati!
    Go Sharks!

  4. Oh ya, anytime. We are so similar (sorta) with our favorite sports teams! I'm a Bay Area fan who loves Bay Area sports, but the Phillies are one of my favorites.

    Thanks for the kind words!

  5. Thanks for the feedback, I agree too. I credit him for keeping at it.

  6. Thanks man, glad you like the site. Yes, I did in fact meet Ted Danson—twice in fact. Once while getting a burger at In-n-Out, and another time while interviewing for a job at a talent agency. And I'll tell you, his hair is just as silver and regal as it looks on TV.

  7. Hey, no problem. Glad to help, I didn't really know what to say though, lol. Yeah, this site is pretty cool. I like it because it's just good practice for what I want to pursue. Plus, it also helps that you get feedback from other people as well. And that is awesome, I'm really excited for you! Keep up the good work!

  8. Hey! Welcome to the BR! Good to have another Sharks fan on board. You can pretty much cover whatever you want: post-game recaps, game day thoughts, opinions on any issues, you pick. I like to do post-game recaps myself with my little opinions interjected in there. The great thing is that you're pretty much free to write whatever you want to. Great, yeah? I've written everything from what the Sharks should do for the trade deadline to just thoughts on the overall team to analyzing the games.
I hope this helped! Once again, if you have any questions feel free to post a note on my board.
