Harrison's Bio

Harrison is currently a student at Savannah State University and a Midshipman in the Naval ROTC program. Unlike some, Harrison chooses to not necessarily take the popular point of view and often selects the one he believes to be accurate as the one and only indisputable truth. Harrison is an avid fan of both the Los Angeles Lakers and his hometown Philadelphia 76ers and has been a fan of both for as long as he's been watching basketball. Harrison does his best to remain factual if not completely objective in his articles.

  7. Right.

Yeah I'm sorry for calling you a bandwagoner then!

Truth is, I interact with so many LAL bandwagoners it is quite irritating for me.

It is clear to me you are not.

As for Dallas, I obviously like to emphasize their potential and somewhat boost their capabilities to the maximum. While that win in LA was a positive, you're right in that it no way proves Dallas to be that good or LA to be that bad.

Shoot...maybe LA can win 70 games. I must admit, it would be quite a feat to behold!

I always thought Odom gave Dirk more trouble than Gasol did. I even thought Odom was the best in the league at guarding Dirk.

All in all, with Gasol LAL is easily looking to make it's return to the Finals and get through the West.

Maybe Dallas can fight off the Spurs,s Nuggets, and the like and showdown with LA. And maybe in a lucky(for me anyways!) world, DAL can somehow show to be a top 10 defensive team and beat them.

But in this world, Lakers are getting to the Finals no doubt. But crazy things happen in this world too! Lol.

    Nice chattin with ya.

  8. Lol I have a psychological defect?

So when did I claim that the Lakers weren't a superior team to the Mavs?

    No where.

In fact, I actually claimed that the Lakers were "on top of the world" if you read your Western Conference predictions.

BUT I said they would not get even close to 70 wins and have more than 14 losses.

I did not even mention Dallas in my first comment.

You came and attacked the Mavs in your reply and I replied saying the Mavs have more depth.

Where in the world did I mention the Mavs were better? Where did I say the Mavs were going to win the ring and the Lakers were not?

And to prove my 2 points, everything went right in that the Mavs beat the Lakers in their second games of the regular season and the Mavericks did it with their depth which far outplayed the Lakers'.

    Gotcha.

Anyways, it is not that hard to spot bandwagoners when suddenly every writer is an LA fan after the trade for Gasol and their championship run.

  9. I did not equate Gasol to Howard. We were talking about the teams' second best players?

Plus, if I was a bandwagon fan I could be a championship riding fan too!

    How's Georgia?

  10. Lol must I remind you that Josh Howard, arguably the Mavs' second best player wasn't on the court.

Nice to see Lakers fans have to run to that have to start making excuses for getting blown out bad at their own home court.

  11. Exactly. Just what I expected you to say.

The debate we had was about the Lakers winning 70+ games and how the Mavs were not "contenders".

This was all in your Western Conference predictions, remember?

I said, there was no way the Lakers would reach those wins, and that the Mavs were being underestimated by you. I specifically stated their bench & depth.

It seems like I was right.

Of course, you would come and start talking crap about the Mavs' championship run and everything unrelated.

Just what I would expect from a Lakers fan though.

Careful, don't fall off the bandwagon Harrison. The Mavs just made a bump in the road.

  12. Harrison,

Let's rewind about a month or so and review all your talk about Lakers winning 70+ and at the sametime bashing the Mavericks.

Then game 2 of the regular season happened for the Mavericks and Lakers.

    The end =)

  13. Is Dwyane Wade fooling us all and planning a secret escape to New York in 2010?
