About Cory »

My name is Cory Holibaugh and a senior at Cuyahoga Falls High School in Northeast Ohio right outside of Akron. My passion use to be just playing sports (baseball), and I still love to play them, but I also love writing. More about sports, but writing in general.

At one point and for awhile I was ranked as the number one writer for the Cleveland Browns for this website. The rankings haven't been up for some time and I don't write as often as I use to, so I don't know where I stand but it doesn't bother me.

I learn from every article I read and every comment I receive, as well as every article I write and comment I post. I watch SportsCenter (and other sports shows) practically everyday and just soak everything I can in. Some kids at my school come up to me and ask me what is going on with the Browns knowing I will have an answer.

I was just recently offered my own column in my schools newspaper to write about anything I want. I declined only because I would have to pickup a journalism class and can't due to myself being in the work program.

It's time to prepare the throne, the King has arrived in New York! Lebron James made his only appearance of the season at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks tonight. Take a look.

Wrote a article as we're approaching the quarterpole of the NFL (more so if you count preseason).

Which players surprised even the best of analysts?

Much has been written about the Steelers, the 1970s, and their use of steroids. The current public perception is the Steelers began and glamorized the use of roids in the 70s. Read my article to find out who one man, with 4 NFL teams, spread the use of steroids throughout the NFL, beginning in 1963, and see just how pervasive roid usage was by the time the Steelers began their decade of dominance.

I just got back from New York City and had an amazing experience at Madison Square Garden. I toured the arena and gained valuable information concerning the Knicks trying to pick up LeBron and Dwyane Wade next summer. Check it out for me please. Comments/feedback/POTD is always appreciated!
