Salomon's Bio

I'm a Danish citizen living in England, where i've lived for the last 12 years. Football is the love of my life. I once played for Nottingham Forest, coming through the ranks with a lot of potential (or so I kept getting told), but it didn't quite work out.
At the moment, I'm a Law student at Coventry University..

I'm a die-hard Chelsea supporter, which i've been approximately since 97, when I watched Gianfranco Zola score the winning goal in the cup winners cup final against Stuttgart (I always get mistaken for a glory hunter, which I'm quite sick of)..
Fans of other clubs are always welcome to voice their opinions towards my articles and opinions, because I sure will let them know my opinion lol...

I also love basketball and I follow the NBA on a weekly basis. Houston Rockets is my favourite team, with Tracy McGrady (TMAC) being my favourite player...

Basically, I'm Another Nigga From The Block. So Anything Else You Wanna Kno, Holla At My Assistant !

  1. Hey Salomon,
Just wanted to let you know I've really enjoyed some of your articles here on B/R. Keep it up man.

  2. Hey my man Salomon, very kind of you to post a note like that, very much appreciated.

I am with you come the final stages of the season, Chelsea were awesome in the semi final against Liverpool and the game against Man Utd in the league, I want to see Grant do well.

Good luck and my fingers a re crossed for your team.

    Alby

  3. S,

I think I found the source of the problem: Many of your articles aren't tagged.

To be listed as a Top Writer in a section (or to be featured in the play-by-play), your articles have to be tagged with the tag for the section. Going forward, always be sure to include "FIFA" and "EPL" tags on all your submissions. That should should solve the problem.

Sorry for the confusion, and eep me posted on how everything turns out.

    RA

  4. Have a look at my article on Grant..i would be interesting to get a comment from a chelsea fan..

    Thanks,
    SS

  5. Hey mate,

The rankings on the FIFA homepage are not constant (you would have to ask Ryan or Zander but I see you already have). To see where you really are on the list, head to the home page and click on rankings towards the bottom of the page.

Those are much more stable and you'll see where you are on the whole site.

As for the play by play problems you again need to talk to one of the above.

  6. Salomon,

It looks like Zan responded to your note yesterday. (See the post two below this one.) Let me know if there's any further confusion.

    Ryan

  7. Salomon,

Zander is actually the man to ask about Writer Rankings and other Community-type issues. I know we've been playing around with the Ranking algorithm recently, so your dip might be a temporary glitch...but Zan will be able to give you more concrete guidance. Sorry for the runaround.

    Ryan

  8. Hey Salomon,

Sometimes the best articles just don't get that much attention—this can happen because the subject the article refers to is already covered by a variety of other sources, or because there aren't enough team and player names in the headline, or because of the time of day you publish it.

Or a host of other reasons.

Bottom line: the amount of people who will read a given article is somewhat unpredictable.

That said, you might want to take a look at this blog entry I wrote about how to get your articles on the front page of the site, which can really help boost your readership: http://blog.bleacherreport.com/?p=36

Keep at it Salomon—don't let the limited success of a single article discourage you!

    Zander

  9. Was I the only one in fits of laughter when Riise put the ball in his own net? Good enough for them, its about time the luck has gone the other way for Liverpool!

  10. Hey mate, just wanted to say great going..You've come a long way since youre first article about Joe Cole..

  11. bro, how can i delete an article i have written? it seems that i have published my latest article thrice becos i kept clicking on the publish link thrice...... what should i do????

  12. Hey Salomon,

This is Zander Freund, Bleacher Report's Content and Community Director.

It was brought to my attention that some articles written by BlueChampion were published under your account. I've gone ahead and deleted these articles, and wanted to stress that anything you publish with your name on it should be written by you.

If you like BlueChampion's work, you should encourage him to sign up for an account (which it appears you have done) and meanwhile publish only your own articles under your account.

Let me know if you have any questions about this. Please keep the great analysis coming!

    Zander

  13. Thanks for the pick of the day vote Salomon, much appreciated.

  14. Sorry Salomon, due to me putting Beckham paragraph under line about Roma I can see why you thought I was linking both. I have edited it now... thanks for bringing it to my attention with you feedback...
