James - how are you surviving the opening of the baseball season? I've survived - fantasy catastrophies and all - and now gestation is complete for my latest article - a response to MLBnetwork's Prime 9 about the greatest pitching seasons ever. Let me know what you think.

James, I never do this, but you need to check out this revealing article by one of my favorite writers, Todd Civin. One of the best articles I've read on this site.

Could you read my latest article?
It's about what it means to play baseball in America (I should say the United States of America).

Thanks. Also, if you would not mind, some comments would be nice. Again thanks.

I have a number of sites left that still needs a few teams for my fantasy baseball leagues. If you have the time and want some great competition drop me your e-mail on my board or contact me at rsmcloser@cox.net. Thanks

Thank you James - I'm glad you've been enjoying the articles. I did it as a personal study, to help me develop a concept of ranking the pitcher across eras, and thought I would share what I found and learned. This most recent article on 1990 - 2009 has stirred up the most reaction by far - players people know, I guess.
