Cautious Optimism: Examining the Impact of Jets Personnel Changes
05/28/2009
Joe Ciolli emerged from the womb with a pen and notepad firmly affixed to his hands and wrote the Da Vinci Code at the ripe age of 3.
Actually, that's not true at all, but Joe did discover his passion for writing at the University of Illinois Lab High School, when he served as Editor in Chief and Staff Writer for his school's nationally-recognized newspaper the Gargoyle. Joe's efforts with the Gargoyle garnered him the 2002 Illinois High School Journalist of the Year Award.
Joe would go on to attend college at Washington University in St. Louis, writing for the sports section of the school newspaper Student Life as a freshman before being promoted to Sports Editor as a sophomore. He would hold this position until his senior year and covered his school's Division III powerhouse athletic program with pride.
Now residing in New York City, Joe is a former investment banker and is pursuing his true passion: journalism. An avid fan of the Jets, Knicks and Rangers, as well as his beloved hometown Illinois Fighting Illini, you can probably find Joe watching sports, talking about sports or pathetically attempting to play sports.
That's really tight you listed Mike D'Antoni! I was really bummed he didn't come to Chicago - only if he waited to find out the Bulls had the #1 pick! In terms of your All Time Sports Moment....spare me.

Hey Joe,
Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

Thanks in advance!
