I'm a senior at Oak Park-River Forest High School and am interested in sports writing. I will be attending Indiana University in the fall of 2009 and intend to major in sports journalism in 2010.
I live just outside of Chicago and I have loved sports all of my life. I am the sports editor for my high school's newspaper, the Trapeze, and I worship all of my hometown teams (except the White Sox).
I decided to view MLB with rose colored glasses for a change. Feel free to offer any names I may have inadvertently omitted. I would love your input.

Hey Daniel,
Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.

Hey Daniel, great to have you as a fan and welcome to BR. I see you've already written a couple of articles, so I am anxiously awaiting your first Cubs piece. If you need any help, just let me know. Best of luck.
