Emily's Bio

I am currently a senior at IUPUI in Indianapolis studying journalism with a minor in history. I have always loved sports especially baseball. When I am not in class or at work, I can be found either sleeping or at the gym but more of the first one.
My dream job is to run the PR department for the St. Louis Cardinals and marry Ben Roethlisberger. A girl can dream can't she. =)

  1. Emily, thanks for the edit and for reading. The preferred style actually is "Game 4."

  2. Ah the Cubs. In a perfect world, they would have knocked off the Bums before bowing out to the Phils. Now LA's young guys might have enough confidence to make it all the way to the WS and then anything can happen. The thought alone is enough to make me puke.

But I agree, the Cubbies are now one of the Big Boys, spending money with abandon and hoping it translates into rings. Gotta root against those teams...until SF does it of course ;-)

  3. Thanks for the edit Emily.

I presume I have you to thank for the excellent picture. It goes much better with the theme of the article.

I too began a Redbird fan, cut my teeth on Andy Van Slyke, Willie McGee, Tommy Herr, and the Wizard (not to mention the infamous pugilists John Tudor and Joaquin Andujar). Had to give it up when I moved to SF as an 8 year old though.

Hope they bounce back next year.

  4. Thanks for the help Emily!

    Steve (StovePipe)

  5. thanks, Lisa, for the note and edit. I realize they don't always read what is written, but if they are going to comment, I thought I would just send them a little message. Someone just blamed me for calling him a bandwagon fan. It was a writer who used that term that I quoted in my second column. Maybe I should start teaching reading comprehension, although it's been a while since I was in a classroom. :-)

  6. Thanks for the edit, Emily!

  7. On a second note... oh god you're a Cardinals fan. Hah.

  8. Thanks for the article edits.

  9. Thanks for that edit. I never knew that dismal was spelled like that.

  15. Hey Emily!

I published this week's Big Ten power poll. It needs your expertise. I suck at editing. ;)
