About Stephen »

I'm a 23 year old Michigan State University graduate who works in public sector consulting in Washington D.C. I prefer college athletics to pro, however I have strong ties to the professional Detroit teams having lived there for most of my life. I bleed green and white, yet I also have a few other schools I favor. I am obsessed with watching and playing golf. I hate impurity in sports. I hate the University of Michigan and everything it stands for. I hate the way the Yankees, Lakers, and Cowboys consume the majority of the coverage on ESPN. I hate when ESPN wastes time talking about the personal lives of athletes, yet I love when deadspin.com does. I believe that Skip Bayless is the worst thing to happen to sports since BALCO and that Dana Jacobsen is the anti-christ. I love visiting new ballparks, parody in sports, and legends of the game. I love rivalries, cinderella stories, and good sports talk radio (Valenti and Foster on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit). I love college football in the fall, march madness, and MLB opening day.

As a Knicks Featured Columnist, I will be making periodical attempts to give fans an inside look at the different aspects of Knicks games. Take a look at what I came up with when Lebron James came to visit.
