Paul's Bio

Paul has written for the Scranton Times-Tribune and The Aquinas - the University of Scranton's school publication - and blogs at wwlyf.wordpress.com. A lifelong resident of the Philadelphia suburbs, Paul lives, breathes, and eats Philadelphia sports, even withstanding the stigma of being a Philly sports fan (Since 1983 and still counting). Outside of that, Paul has a keen interest in statistics of every kind, and has a sabermetric approach that makes old-school reporters wince.

Watching the Phillies clinch the NL East last season; Allen Iverson's 2001 Finals game 1 against the Lakers; watching Mark McGwire hit his 62nd during the '98 home run race

Most Memorable Game Attended

Game 6 of the '97-'98 AHL Calder Cup Finals, when the Phantoms won the series. It was the closest I've come to experiencing a major league championship, and it was still a huge celebration. Honorable mention to the Phillies' 10,000th franchise loss last season.

Either Walter Johnson's 110 career shutouts or Cy Young's 749 complete games.

ACC for basketball, Big 12 and Big 10 for football
