About Daniel »

I'm crazy about college football! It's a passion that some (my wife) may consider borderline fanaticism. I like to read about and write about anything to do with college football.

Hey, you commented on an "FBS Playoff Series" article I wrote last year so I thought you may want to be involved with a new article series I am running this year:

I hope you can share some of your same thoughts.

I'd be glad to work with you. Let me know how I can help. I think in order for anything to move forward you'd have to do an end around Thompson and go straight to the BCS committe. If the BCS gave the proposal the nod....BYU and Utah would fall right into line. 14 teams seems a bit too many. You are going to have traveling problems with Hawaii no matter how you break it down. LA Tech already travels there and they don't seem to have a problem. I don't think Tulsa would be much different. Breaking the teams into East and West creates kind of a boring schedule in my opinion. I think spliting them up into North and South divides the power teams up better, and gives you a chance to see a different conference champ every year.
