I am Marcus Chin, a university student in Australia, majoring in ancient history. Hoping for some career in academia I also happen to be an avid fan of tennis, and unashamedly, of Roger Federer. Writing about it giveS vent to many of the thoughts that come day by day on the ATP tour. Ive enjoyed many blogs on the sport, especially those on Tennis Magazine and ESPN, while my favourite book on it so far is Jon Wertheim's Strokes of Genius on the Wimbledon final of 2008.
Mainly though my reading comprises non-fiction, which helps when searching for new and unconventional sports journalistic perspectives.
Always appreciate great articles Marcus. Keep it up!
Hey Marcus,
I thought I'd share with you this article about James Blake and the charity event he's holding later this month. It's for a great cause, hopefully you'll have time to give it a read or promote it to your readers.

Oh yeah, anyone else can play too!
Dear Marcus,
I know this is a longer than long shot, but we run a US Open Series Prediction Challenge at drawchallenge.webs.com . For each of the 6 mens tournaments, you fill out a bracket by emailing them to drawchallenge@yahoo.com . We keep track of all standings and results on the website. We add up points from all of the tournaments combined to come up with a US Open Series Prediction Champion. Last year we did it and it was a lot of fun. Just to let you know, this is what a typical entry email would look like.

Hi Marcus,
Devil here. I'm currently writing an article and would like use your article 'Novak Djokovic Stuns Rafael Nadal...' as a link for people to see other people's reactions to Novak beating Nadal.
Is this okay?
Do you think that an Asian player can make it to #1 again like Michael Chang? I hope that Kei has a chance
Do you like Kei Nishikori? He is my favorite., look at this cool video of him, he seems so nice!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1qfiH0ZH-E
Hey Marcus,
I've just posted a story about the global evolution of tennis and the increasing popularity of the sport. I've put a lot of time and effort into it, and I'd be really grateful to get any feedback you have.
If you get a chance to check it out, that would be great.
